Driver Roles

  • Must hold a Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) licence

  • Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check

  • Must complete a DVLA Group 2 medical, where required

  • Complete a driving assessmen by the local authority, where required

  • Must read, understand, and comply with licensing obligations and company policies

Passenger Assistant Roles

  • Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check

  • Complete first aid and safeguarding training

  • Follow company policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

  • Be committed to providing calm, supportive, and professional care

  • No previous experience is required — full training is provided.

Training and Support

All drivers and passenger assistants receive tailored, person-centred training, designed around the needs of the children they support. This may include:

  • Safeguarding and child protection

  • SEN awareness (including autism, ADHD, epilepsy, and neurodiversity)

  • Managing behaviour and communication sensitively

  • Defensive and considerate driving techniques

Training is ongoing, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
